We have seen a dramatic rise in our population over the past 40 years from when the Community Centre and Pitch were first established. Back in 1975 Families were asked for a donation of £50 to support the plans. 25 Years ago Lottery funds were secured and a large job was completed on the pitch. Now in 2018 we need to redo this as the pitch is currently in poor repair and unusable frequently due to weather.

The Community Centre has seen an explosion in use in the past number of years and we have plans to do much much more to service the community needs. But we secured a €25,500 grant from the Sports Capital Programme in 2017 so we decided to start with the Pitch and grounds

A new Development Committee has been formed to progress these improvement works: Pat Gallagher, Martin McCarron & Katherine Williams
